That's roughly a 32% increase over my previous tank of gas.
So, by slowing down to 55mph, driving very gently, not accelerating up hills, coasting down hills, and braking as infrequently as possible, I have increased my mileage by about 1/3.
100 miles of driving for free. If gas is $3.95 per gallon , that's like putting $9.86 back in my pocket every fill-up.
But this was just the first tank. The big test is over time.
